Travala to Offer Binance Pay as a Payment Method
Travel, which is a traveling website known for being crypto-friendly has recently made an announcement for its users. According to the announcement, Travala has successfully integrated Binance Pay into its payment methods. Binance Pay is a newly launched payment application by one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.
With the integration of the new payment platform, Travala has become the first-ever travel booking company to have adopted Binance Pay. It has been revealed that Binance had just announced the launch of its “Binance Pay” payment platform on February 3, 2021.
Before you start using the Binance Pay platform through Travala, you must know the crypto and fiat currencies it will be offered for use. It has been revealed by Binance Pay that for the initial phase, it will only be supporting one fiat currency and five cryptocurrencies.
Although the Binance Pay platform is still in its “Beta Version”, still the Travala users will be able to make payments with it. The users will be able to use the allocated cryptocurrencies as well as the fiat currency to pay for booking travel products on Travala. Some of the most booked products through Travala include flights, hotels, and homes.
While browsing through Travala products, the users will be able to book products via “Euro”, which is the only support fiat current on Binance Pay for now. While the cryptocurrencies that the users will be able to use for now include Binance Coin (BNB), Binance USD (BUSD), Ether, (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and Swipe (SXP).
Following Travala’s announcement, the first person to confirm the announcement was Changpeng Zhao, who is the founder and the CEO of Binance. Zhao confirmed through his Twitter account to the entire world that Travala had integrated Binance Pay into their platform.
As for Binance Pay, the application has been designed, developed, and launched to make the lives of Binance users much easier. The Binance users now have the opportunity to install the Binance Pay application into their smartphones. Binance Pay application also comes with a cryptocurrency wallet and the users can link their Binance Cards with it.
Apart from making payments, but Binance Pay also allows the users to instantly transfer funds to each other. The application offers users a QR code per asset and quantity. Once the preferred QR code is generated, the recipient can scan the QR code and receive the funds instantly.
Although the cryptocurrency industry is known for offering instant payment and finance solutions to users, but major traditional finance solutions have also started to catch up.
Just a few days back, VISA has announced the launch of integrating its cards with cryptocurrency platforms. As a result, the VISA cardholders will soon be able to make transactions using different cryptocurrencies with their VISA cards.
